Dr. Radomski's research has two central focuses: 1) How to accurately measure and reduce the delivery of low-value care in the United States, and 2) How the receipt of care across multiple healthcare systems influences health service utilization, outcomes, and value.

He is supported by a K23 Career Development Award from the National Institute on Aging to develop, validate, and apply a claims-based metric of low-value prescribing in older adults. He is also leading a study funded by a VA Merit Award to evaluate the use and cost of low-value health services by Veterans in VA and non-VA care settings. His research has been published in journals such as the Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of General Internal Medicine, American Journal of Public Health, and the Journal of the American Geriatric Society.
