Drug Pricing and Cost Research

The high and variable cost of medications remains a central challenge to improving access to care. CP3 faculty leverage their expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, health services research, and public policy to explore critical issues—from drug list price trends and pharmacy benefit manager practices to insulin affordability and supply chain disruptions. Through peer-reviewed studies, policy analyses, and public engagement, we aim to illuminate cost drivers and inform solutions that make vital medications more accessible and affordable for patients and health systems.
